Geriatrics Behavioral Health in an Age Friendly Health System

The program meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays, 7:30-8:30 a.m. PST


This 12 session ECHO series will build the capacity of primary care clinicians and their teams to diagnose and treat common outpatient geriatric patient care issues including behavioral health, dementia-related behaviors, pain control, mobility, and advance care planning. Topics may include: 

  • Diagnosis and treatment of dementia, depression, and anxiety 
  • Insomnia management (pharmacological and non-pharmacological)
  • Pain management (pharmacological and non-pharmacological)
  • Mobility in older adults with mental health diagnoses
  • Advance care planning processes 

Accreditation: Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
