Reproductive Health for Primary Care

Tuesdays, noon - 1 p.m.


The focus of this 8-session ECHO is to build the capacity of primary care clinicians and their team members to provide culturally responsive and equitable reproductive health care to their patients. 

Topics may include:

  • Patient-centered counseling
  • Contraception myths and misperceptions
  • Best practices in contraception and LARC update
  • Medical abortion provision in primary care

We will select up to 40 health professionals from Oregon who work in primary care settings to participate in this program, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacists, nurses, traditional health workers, peers, administrative staff, and other clinic champions. Participants will be chosen based on their interest in the program, geographic distribution throughout the state, and ability to commit to attend the sessions. 

 **Accreditation: Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

Credit: OHSU School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
