Colorectal Cancer Screening Outreach for Rural Communities ECHO

First and third Thursdays of each month, noon - 1 p.m.


This 6-session ECHO series will cover topics such as: 

  • CRC Screening: Why Do It?
  • Laying the Groundwork for CRC Outreach: Creating a Team and Staffing
  • How Do You Identify Which People Need Screening?
  • Implementing a Mailed Fecal Testing (FIT) Outreach Program for Screening
  • Patient Navigation to Follow-up Colonoscopy
  • Strategies to Adapt Best Practices for Local Needs and Unique Barriers in Rural Areas

We are recruiting program champions from health care or community organizations (health plans, health systems, or clinical practices) interested in improving CRC screening rates using population outreach. Program champions are encouraged to create a cross-functional team to participate in the ECHO sessions, which may include quality improvement leaders, clinic or health plan administrators, community health workers, or provider champions. 

This program is free and participants will be able to access technical assistance and personalized patient educational materals.
