This 12 session ECHO series will build the capacity of primary care clinicians and their teams to diagnose and treat common outpatient geriatric patient care issues. Topics will include:

  • Diagnosis and treatment of dementia, depression, and anxiety
  • Insomnia management in older adults
  • Pain management (pharmacological and non-pharmacological)

We will select primary care teams to participate based on their interest in the program, geographic distribution throughout Oregon, and ability to commit to attend the sessions. Prescribing clinicians are encouraged to invite up to two other staff members who are in a position to champion change in their organizations, such as nurses, behavioral health specialists, medical assistants, practice managers, and quality improvement specialists.
