This program meets Wednesdays, 12-1 p.m., PST.
This 10-session ECHO series will help clinicians and hospital staff build or improve systems of care that effectively treat addiction in a hospital setting.
We will select up to 40 clinicians and hospital staff who are in a position to champion change in their organizations and provide care to hospitalized adults with SUD. Clinicians (prescribing MD, DO, NP, PA), nurses, social workers, pharmacists, discharge planners, behavioral health specialists, administrators, and quality improvement specialists are encouraged to register. Ideally staff will participate as part of hospital-based teams that includes a clinician and one or more other staff member. Participants will be selected based on their interest and geographic distribution throughout Oregon.
Accreditation: Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
OHSU School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 10.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 12 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
